Golden Hour™ is a Cincinnati-based wedding videography and performance company led by seasoned storyteller Andrew Kennedy.
With over two decades of professional experience—from breaking news and corporate productions to heartfelt wedding films—Andrew brings storytelling instinct, technical precision, and a calm, professional presence to every project and performance.
A graduate of Northern Kentucky University’s Radio and Television program, Andrew has filmed thousands of projects, including weddings, corporate videos, and high-energy race events.
He specializes in cinematic, candid-style films that let moments unfold naturally—capturing laughter, emotion, and the unforgettable details that make each story uniquely personal.
Beyond the camera, Andrew is a passionate vocal performer who shares his love of classic American music and patriotic song wherever he can.
He regularly sings the National Anthem at sporting events and ceremonies, and donates his time performing for nursing homes, senior living communities, schools, and children’s programs throughout the Cincinnati area.
Performance Sets:
Whether you need the National Anthem performed at your event, or live music for a community gathering, holiday celebration, or special occasion, Andrew brings authenticity, gratitude, and heartfelt connection to every performance.
Andrew’s love for video extends beyond weddings.
He founded AKRC™ (Andrew Kennedy Race Capturing) to film local running events and is passionate about supporting his Cincinnati community through his creative work.
A longtime supporter of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, he volunteered there at Ryan Seacrest Studios, bringing positivity and connection to patients and families through music and conversation.
His videography portfolio also includes corporate films, sports features, and community storytelling projects.
Andrew’s professional journey is as diverse as it is accomplished.
He began his career in broadcast journalism, interning at WCPO before working as a news reporter at KNDO (Yakima, WA) and WEHT (Evansville, IN).
From 2007 to 2021, he built a successful career in sales and marketing at Total Quality Logistics, where he developed the communication and business skills that now shape his creative ventures.
Today, Andrew works as a Data Center Technician and Facility Maintenance Specialist for HBC Facility Management (Hunt Builders Corporation), serving corporate clients with the same precision and reliability that define his creative work.
Outside of work, Andrew is a devoted father who finds joy in faith, family, and fitness.
He enjoys church, hiking, running, biking, swimming, lifting weights, writing, bowling, beekeeping, and feeding the deer in the backyard with his daughters Honor and Glory.
A competitive bodybuilder, licensed motorcycle rider, and professional truck driver (CDL holder), Andrew also authored the book Religion and designs his own line of creative bookmark cards.
He operates Golden Hour Lawn Care™, a premium lawn care service that reflects his eye for detail and commitment to quality.
In 2021, Andrew ran as an independent candidate for Cincinnati City Council, driven by his belief in service, faith, and community.
He hopes to run for public office again in the distant future after retirement.
Whether he’s filming a wedding, capturing a corporate story, or singing a song that moves the heart, Andrew brings the same dedication, creativity, and integrity to everything he does.
For him, every project—visual or musical—is a chance to uplift others, preserve memories, and remind us all to savor life’s golden moments.
